Chapter 6: She is looking Forward to it

|| TL: Tori ||

The moment the words uttered by the fashionably dressed Kanzaki entered my ears, my body froze.

To Kanzaki, I was merely a kimmo fatty in the same class, but she had definitely mentioned my name.

So I turned on my heel again and faced Kanzaki.

“Y-yo ……it’s been a while…….”

I replied, shifting my gaze, ruffling the back of my hair a bit shyly.

“I’m surprised……that it’s really Kondo-kun, I think everyone in the class would be very surprised if they knew.”

The first time I saw her, she was staring at me with her eyes rolled back in her head and her mouth half-open, as if she were staring through a hole.

Still, it’s strange.

Manabu and Keisuke professed that everyone in the class would never recognize me as that kimmo fatty, Kondo tatsumi, who has changed so much. And yet, she seems to know exactly who I am.

That’s a little curious.

“Um, Kanzaki-san, can I ask you one question?”

“Yes? What?”

“How did Kanzaki-san know that I was Kondo Tatsumi? My parents even told me that the old me and the new me are completely different people.”

“N……I wonder why…….”

When I asked her about it, Kanzaki put her hand on her chin and thought for a moment with a contemplative look on her face. Then, as if she had just thought of something, her eyes widened and she spoke.

“I think it might be…….”

“What? What is it?”

“It’s true that Kondo-kun is very different now, and if I told you he was a different person, you might believe me. …… But when I look into his eyes now, for some reason, I see the Kondo-kun I always knew……”

“Does that mean that there are still traces of me as a kimmodeb……”

“No, no! No, no, no! I’m not saying that at all, I’m saying that Kondo-kun is very handsome and good looking right now!”

“Oh, oh……Do I look cool……?”

“That was different! No, it isn’t. It’s…….”

“Which is it?”

Kanzaki’s eyes watered and she sighed with a troubled look. There is something childish and cute about her. Her body is not that of a child at all though.

A few seconds of silence passed as we faced each other. She took her cell phone out of her pocket, looked at the blank screen and sighed deeply again.

A confused look on her face, and a fashionable outfit.

Hmmm. I guess it’s time for me to leave.

I look at her as if I’ve made up my mind and open my mouth.

My voice and Kanzaki’s voice completely merged.

“Kondo-kun, after you.”

“No, Kanzaki-san first.”

“No, Kondo-kun first.”

‘I’ve got something to do, so I’d better get going.”

“What? You’re leaving?”

“I’m sorry for taking up so much of your time…….I’ll definitely pay you back someday.”

“Don’t worry about it. Bye.”

“Okay. See you at school! Kondo-kun.”

Kanzaki waved her hand. Then she smiled at me. She smiled again, the same smile she showed me the other day when she received the eraser from me.

No matter how much I try to stay away from this girl and Hayama, I don’t think I should deny myself this heart-warming feeling.

I lifted the corners of my mouth slightly and headed for the shoe store.

That Night

After parting from Kondo, Kanzaki went straight home to her own house to get ready for school. After putting her textbooks and pencil box in her bag, Kanzaki took a shower and lay in bed in her nightgown.

Her cheeks are slightly reddish. It is not due to the hot bath, nor is it due to the lingering summer heat.

She have been this way ever since she met Kondo.

Kondo, who had been bullied by the students in her class for a long time, became a handsome man and appeared in front of her.

Kanzaki exhaled deeply.

The most of the people in the class have bad feelings towards Kondo. Especially her childhood friend Hayama, who dislikes Kondo to the point of being a complete asshole.

When she tells Hayama good things about Kondo, who picked up her eraser, he says terrible things like, “I don’t care about that scum,” and “I’ll beat the shit out of him if he gets involved.”

Hatred, disgust, stereotypes, etc. etc. The group mentality escalated as well.

However, Kanzaki had never put such bad feelings on Kondo, but looked at him as an object to be pitied.

That is why she was so happy when she saw the changed Kondo.

Grateful that she was able to interact with him without feeling guilty, she thought back to what had happened today.

Then suddenly, her cell phone rang.

She quickly looks at the cell phone screen. There was a message from her childhood friend Hayama.

[I’m really sorry about today. I feel like hating my body for catching a……cold on what was supposed to be a great date.]

Kanzaki looked over the message from Hayama and for a moment her face contorted. However, she eventually smiled and replied.

[It’s fine. Don’t worry about it. Take good care of yourself.]

[I went to the hospital, but they said I can go to school tomorrow after taking the medicine, so I’ll see you at school.]

Kanzaki looked at Hayama’s message, then sent an app-specific stamp with a blank expression.

[Stamp (bye-bye).]

A stamp of a cute cat waving its hand. The cat was smiling mischievously.

She let go of her phone and thought back again to what had happened today.

Hayama had gotten a fever and had been in bed until the meeting time, so she had been left waiting.

She was feeling discouraged and was having a bad mood when she got tangled up with a strange pick-up guy, but Kondo, who had undergone a major transformation, came and saved her by protecting her.

Kondo was dressed in seemingly nondescript clothes at the time, but Kanzaki thinks he looked great when he subdued the pick-up artist.

His muscles were so strong that I was afraid he might tear his white T-shirt. He was a little tall for a high school student.

‘Are you all right?’

‘Ha, yes! Thanks to you.’

‘Thank God.’

‘I’m glad.’ ‘I’m glad.’ ‘I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.”I’m glad.’

The words he said with a smile on his face were on the wood of her mind for a long time.

At the same time, an electric charge ran through her head, down her chest, her hips, and gathered in her stomach. And the pheromones that had not yet matured gradually filled Kanzaki’s womb. But she still didn’t seem to notice the changes in her body.

“Hmmm, I’m looking forward to school tomorrow.”
